QA1 Expands Contingency Program for NMRA & NMCA Racers
QA1, makers of street performance and racing suspension components, has expanded its contingency reach with the NMRA, NMCA, and NMCA West racing series. The existing contingency program for QA1’s line of shocks and struts has been expanded to include 18 new racing classes across the three racing series to support the top-performing racers in many of the series’ classes. Additionally, QA1 has added its carbon fiber driveshaft product to the line of eligible contingency products in these three racing series.
The contingency expansion reflects QA1’s growing driveline division, which offers REV Series carbon fiber driveshafts for both hardcore drag racing and high-performance street use. “We are proud that so many racers have put their trust in our driveshafts,” says Dave Goldie, QA1 Street Performance and Racing Product Manager, “and we are happy to support them the same way we have supported those who trust our performance line of shocks and struts.”
Now in its fifth year, the QA1 contingency program for the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals, NMCA West Street Car Nationals, and NMRA National Series provides for some of the largest cash payouts in their respective racing areas. Payouts totaling over $8.5 million have been posted over the last four years among the three racing bodies. Goldie says, “QA1 is committed to helping racers compete at the highest level, and these programs highlight the best of the best. NMRA and NMCA have been great partners and run very professional events that attract a lot of racers. We look forward to continue working with them.”
To be eligible for contingency, racers participating in the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals, NMCA West Street Car Nationals, and NMRA National Series need to be running QA1 shocks and/or struts, or a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft. A QA1 decal also must be displayed on the vehicle. For each program, QA1 is awarding cash prizes in values ranging from $75 to $300 for the winners and runners-up in each participating class. The participating classes, by series, are as follows:
