Our club was formed in 2013 by some Active and enthusiastic Mustang owners. The name was discussed with all members until we came up with the name ” Mustang Tornado “. We have approximately 80 families as members with cars from the original 64 1/2 model year to and including the most current version. Several of our current members are founders of the club. Our members range in age from teenagers to retired individuals.
We hold a weekly meeting that has no fixed date and time. Topics for our meeting include restoration tips and tours of local automotive-related businesses. We have seen members’ video tapes, photos and slides of many shows.
Ownership of a Mustang is not required to become a member of our club. Our only requirement is that you have an appreciation of the model. We accept all years of Mustangs in our club. Members’ cars range from daily drivers to fully restored racing cars and every category in between. We are always interested in attracting new members and look forward to having as many individuals as possible involved in all club activities.
Our Board of Directors made of 6, act as volunteers and give a great amount of time weekly.
The objectives of the Mustang Tornado club are:
- Stimulate the recognition, restoration and preservation of the Ford Mustang automobile.
- Encourage fellowship among members by sponsoring recreational and social activities.
- Educate members in the maintenance and care of their Mustangs.
- Weekly gatherings and rides to improve the relation between members.
